TelamonTimePicker

A time of day as hours and minutes number fields, with AM/PM in 12-hour mode and an optional day-of-week drop-down.

Since 1.4.0

A time of day: hours and minutes as two number fields (Up and Down, the wheel, or type a number and press Return; both wrap round), and in 12-hour mode an AM/PM button. With showDay: true a drop-down with the days of the week comes first, for a weekly schedule. Minutes snap to minuteStep (7 with a step of 5 becomes 5; the last allowed value below 60 is the largest multiple). An out-of-range hours or minutes is clamped. minuteArrowStep sets the step of the minutes' arrow keys and wheel apart from minuteStep: with minuteStep: 1 and minuteArrowStep: 5 a typed 07 stays 07, up goes to 10 and down to 05. minimumHours and minimumMinutes set the earliest time (in 24-hour terms, also in 12-hour mode): an earlier typed or stepped time is raised to it, adjusted() is emitted and a screen reader hears "Set to 09:00"; with a minimum the fields stop at it instead of wrapping, and an AM or PM before it is skipped. The minimum is rounded up to minuteStep, carrying into the next hour when that passes 59; at 23 there is no later hour, so the latest allowed time (23 and the largest minute of the grid) is used. The arrow keys, the wheel and a screen reader's increase and decrease actions all step the same way. The app's own hours and minutes are not raised.

TelamonTimePicker is a Qt Quick Controls Control; its inherited properties work as usual.

Example

TelamonTimePicker {
    hours: 7; minutes: 30
    minuteStep: 5
    onEdited: alarm.set(hours, minutes)
}

showDay bool false Shows a day-of-week drop-down before the time.
use24Hour bool from the locale Shows a 24-hour clock. The default follows the locale's short time format.

Note

An out-of-range hours or minutes is replaced by the corrected value, so a binding to either is broken by it.
